Granth
A complete publishing workspace for writing, composing, publishing, and reading books.
I designed and developed Granth as a complete publishing system, covering manuscript creation, composition, media, print/PDF output, public publishing, and web reading while keeping the experience editorial rather than SaaS-heavy.
The main parts of the system.

Who uses it.

Creates and manages the complete book from manuscript through publishing and release.
Discovers and reads books that the author has explicitly published publicly.
How the work moves.
Granth
A complete publishing workspace for writing, composing, publishing, and reading books.
Granth began as an effort to bring writing, book structure, publishing records, proofing, and digital reading into one connected author workspace.
What this build brings together.
I designed and developed Granth as a complete publishing system, covering manuscript creation, composition, media, print/PDF output, public publishing, and web reading while keeping the experience editorial rather than SaaS-heavy.
The parts that make the whole.
Move across the areas to see the role each one plays.
Manuscript & Structure

Write chapters, organize parts and front/back matter, and shape the complete book structure in one connected workspace.
Publishing Records

Manage authors, series, publishers, edition details, genres, language, rights, and the publishing identity behind each book.
Composition & Proof

Turn manuscript content into composed 6×9 pages, inspect layout, review print output, and prepare the final edition.
Cover & Media

Manage covers, title-page artwork, chapter imagery, publisher marks, and other media used across print and digital editions.
Web Publishing

Read published editions in continuous or book-style views with chapter navigation, responsive layouts, and full-book loading.
Reading Experience

Read published editions in continuous or book-style views with chapter navigation, responsive layouts, and full-book loading.

Built around the people who use it.
Each role sees the information and actions relevant to its responsibility.

How the work moves.
The rules behind the experience.
The decisions that keep the system coherent as the work becomes more complex.
Book creation stays separate from book output
Writing and structuring remain focused authoring tasks, while proof, print, PDF, and public editions are handled as production outputs.
Print and web editions share one book source
Authors maintain one canonical book while Granth prepares the same work for 6×9 composition, PDF, continuous reading, and book-style web reading.
Published does not automatically mean public
A finished edition can remain private for review or distribution, while only explicitly public books enter the Granth library and public readers.
The book renderer is protected from platform UI changes
CMS, branding, and public-site evolution can continue without changing composition, typography, pagination, proof, or the final reading edition.
